King of all he surveys.

Linus got in to mom’s fluffy things again…

Mom and dad got something called “married” recently. Before that mom had all these fluffy things called feathers that she kept using. I think she was attaching them to things she kept calling “not toys” whenever I tried to look. Humans are weird.

Anyway, mom forgot to close the door to the room with the feathers (which is good because it’s MY room that I like to sleep in and watch lizards from). Linus started looking in mom’s bags for the fluffies. I may have pointed out where they were… And encouraged him to break them out of the bag…. But you can’t prove it! There were feathers everywhere, but mom found us before I got to play

Linus got in soooo much trouble!

Mondays, what’s the big deal?

I don’t see what all the fuss is about. Monday is just like every other day. Wake up, eat, nap, play, nap, stretch, nap, dinner, nap, play some more, midnight, snack, and sleep.  It’s no more stressful than Tuesday or any other normal day. If you ask me Saturday and Sunday are the PITA days. Endless  interruptions in my routine as the people stay home and constantly want my attention. Give me a Monday any day.

Dear diary…

Day 436 of this thing they call “diet”. I miss the crunchy food soooo much.  Lucy seems bigger somehow, and I think my pillow is getting larger too. I’m wasting away… Oh cruel world! Oh cruel food bowl!

Of Bedtime and Bed Hogs

Our humans have a really big bed, which is nice since Linus takes up all the space. I like to sometimes sleep on my male human (who I occasionally deign to call “dad”) as he’s really warm. He has lots of blankets for me to hide in.

As you you can see in the picture, my brat of a brother likes to take up most of the bed, usually squishing our other human. When he’s not squishing the slaves, he likes to push me around. How dare he – I’m the oldest! And then he sits on me, and I suppose being the oldest isn’t so great when they’re so much bigger than you. 🙁
